Parkskolan is a F-6 school located in central Kristianstad with 330 students. The school is close to an ice rink, nature, and the cultural offerings of the city. We have very good bus connections to and from the school.

Your role with us

As a chef, you will work with qualified cooking. The job also includes safely preparing and handling special diets and menus for our guests who require adapted meal plans. You will plan, organize, and lead the daily work in the kitchen with your colleagues. Furthermore, traditional tasks that occur in kitchens such as self-control, ordering, invoice management, dishwashing, cleaning, etc. are included.

Our guests are found within both the school and elderly care. You will have daily contact with care staff and guests and are expected to be a good ambassador for GS Meals operations.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has passed grades from the restaurant and food program with a focus on the kitchen or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working in production kitchens and knowledge of and experience with special diet cooking. We also want you to have experience with ordering and invoice management. Good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control is a requirement.

You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience with dietary software.

Your personal qualities are important, and we are looking for someone who is flexible and solution-oriented. This means you can work in other kitchens when needed, quickly adapt to changes, and prioritize tasks when the situation requires it.
