We are now looking for an engaged purchaser for our purchasing unit – a central support function that plays a crucial role in ensuring effective, sustainable, and secure procurements.

Your workplace is centrally located at Guldsmeden in Hudiksvall, where you will sit with your immediate manager and colleagues.

Responsibilities

As a purchaser in Hudiksvall Municipality, you will play a key role in the municipality's purchasing work. Your responsibilities include conducting procurements according to LOU (the Public Procurement Act) and ensuring that our purchases are characterized by both economic efficiency and sustainability.

You will work closely with the municipality's various operations to plan, lead, and follow up on purchases. Additionally, you will engage in dialogue with suppliers and other stakeholders and provide support in the form of advice and training on procurement issues. The position offers an independent and varied job with great potential for influence.

Requirements:

• Relevant higher education in the field, such as law, economics, or engineering
• Experience in purchasing
• Very good Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good system proficiency

Meritorious:

• Experience in procurement or purchasing within the public sector
• Experience in strategic purchasing work and/or project management
• Experience with procurement systems
