Your Role

As a technical preparer for system installation in Gripen, you will create 3D-based detailed instructions for the operators in our final assembly who install all the various systems in the aircraft's fuselage. The instructions specify which parts to install, in what order and how, as well as the tools required and any consumables. Your instructions, materials, and tool lists are quality assured through our FAI process in production, and once approved, you will have completed your delivery.

Your responsibility spans the entire manufacturing process - from verifying the manufacturability of design documentation to the actual production preparation. Your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing the system's design drawings
• Ensuring that all design requirements are met, such as specified torque values
• Cross-functional collaboration with designers, quality engineers, operators, and purchasing.

You will be part of a dynamic team where a strong focus is placed on preparation with Model Based Design (MBD) in our Delmia system, which demands high accuracy, analytical, and organized working methods. You will be the central link between design and production.

Here, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in supply chain, production costs, production methods, layouts, and capacity planning, which you will implement in production documentation.

Your Profile

To thrive and succeed in the role of technical preparer, we see that you have a good technical understanding combined with a solution-oriented and collaborative personality. You are accustomed to tackling complex technical challenges and possess an analytical ability that allows you to quickly understand systems and processes.

• You communicate clearly and structured, both in writing and verbally, and easily build trust with technicians, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• You understand that good technical preparation is based on good collaboration and understanding the entire chain - from drawing to finished installation.
• You have at least a high school education and experience in production. You also have a technical interest.
