Role Summary

We are currently looking for a senior project manager that will scale our first concept pilots for eMining vehicles in a higher volume in what we call Small Series.

The Pilot vehicles are developed and tested in small volumes for selected customers with virgin technology and dedicated support from our sister team. In the small series phase we will continue with selected customers and operation but there is a need to scale production, purchasing and aftermarket capabilities as well as handling regulatory aspects.

In order to meet the high demand on lead time and internal resource constraints. We will most likely will partner up with external suppliers of solutions, components and production capabilities in order to reach the project mission.

Job Responsibilities

• Scale existing Scania Pilots in to a Small Series Launch including product, sales and aftermarket support
• Coordinate internal and external resources from Purchasing, Production, R&D and S&M in order to deliver small series products (eMining 8x4 for Australia is the first project)
• Secure that the solutions is in line with what we promise our customers this means that you must be close to both the customer needs and our internal and external capabilities to deliver.
• Manage cost, revenues and deliveries according to plan in the project
• Support management team with defining the Smal Series Concepts for eMining trucks
• Share insights and inspire all stakeholders in the Scania Pilot Partner Community

Who You Are

You are an experienced project manager who excels at driving progress in a large corporate environment with many stakeholders. You understand the complexities of introducing new initiatives and methods in a well-established organization. You can create structure and see how we can make use of Scania processes where it goes, but can also transform and adjust them where needed. You are proactive in seeking solutions to challenges and innovative in finding ways to overcome obstacles.

As a person, you are committed and structured and you like a fast pace. You enjoy working independently but with the team's performance in focus. You are outgoing and have good ability to develop and maintain a wide network of contacts at all levels, and are comfortable with presenting and reporting for larger groups. You are communicative in Swedish and have high level of English in speech and writing.
