It is a social job where you collaborate with both colleagues and customers in the business. Your role will be central, and the service team is an important function for the company. Your main tasks will include:

· troubleshooting and addressing urgent and general faults in the port facility

· welding work

· rectifying electrical faults

· service and preventive work on ferry terminals and associated machinery

· service of buildings and green areas

· daily operation of the port's treatment plant and its maintenance.

· assembly and installation of signs, road signs, etc.

· on-call duty is included in the position

Qualifications

To be a successful service technician, you need both theoretical and practical knowledge. You should be responsible, meticulous, and structured. It is important that you can work both independently and in a team, and that you are flexible and engaged in your professional role. As a person, you are service-oriented and positive, as the job involves a lot of contact with customers and suppliers.

A driver's license is required, as all movement within the port is done using vehicles.

Technical skill is required, and you should be able to handle technical tools such as computers and IT tools, which are necessary for this work.

Education or knowledge in areas we prioritize:

· basic upper secondary education in, for example, Electrical and Energy Program, Vehicle and Transport Program, or Industrial Technology Program

· welding skills, hard soldering

· work experience in parts of the tasks

· knowledge of PLC

· forklift and wheel loader licenses are advantageous
