At Stora Sköndal's neurological rehabilitation clinic, we welcome patients aged 18 and older who have suffered from illness or injury to the nervous system. The care unit has 28 places for the rehabilitation of patients coming from acute hospitals or planned from home.

Our most common diagnosis groups are patients with stroke, Parkinson's disease, MS, brain tumors, and epilepsy. We also care for and rehabilitate patients after multi-trauma and other conditions that cause neurological impact.

Patients are offered intensive and scheduled training both individually and in groups, but rehabilitation also takes place in all ADL (activities of daily living) on the unit. As a nursing assistant, you play an important role in guiding the patient in various strategies and ensuring that the patient receives good and safe care. Together with the team, you support the patient's goals for their rehabilitation.

We are looking for someone who can work full-time during the summer for at least 5-6 weeks. You will work day/evening and weekends. It is a great advantage if you can start your orientation here before the summer. If you wish, there is an opportunity to continue with us as a part-time employee after the summer.

• You are a trained nursing assistant or in training, or a caregiver; job title is meritorious.
• You have experience or interest in acute neurology and/or neurological rehabilitation.
• You have a good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish; this is a prerequisite as the position involves continuous communication with patients, relatives, and the team.
• Experience in transfer techniques, incontinence care, wound care, and venous and capillary sampling is meritorious.
• Some computer skills are required, and it is advantageous if you have previously documented in the Take Care journal system.
