Muskötvägen is a pleasant and modern nursing home located in Åkersberga, within Österåker Municipality. The facility offers care and nursing for the elderly with somatic needs and dementia in a safe and homely environment. We offer a total of 66 places, of which 40 are dementia-focused, 20 are somatic-focused, and 6 are short-term and respite care places.

With us, we work person-centered with the elderly in focus. We value participation, continuity, and close collaboration between nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Our goal is to create quality of life and security for the residents, as well as good support for relatives.

As a nurse at Muskötvägen, you have a central role in the team together with three other colleagues. You are responsible for medical assessments, supervision of nursing staff, and collaboration with doctors and external healthcare contacts. You are given the opportunity to influence working methods and contribute to the development of the organization, where quality and competence are in focus.

We work in the Sekoia journal system and use Sign it for digital signing and documentation, which contributes to a structured, safe, and efficient handling of healthcare interventions.

Working hours are scheduled during the day from 07:00 to 17:00 with duty every fourth weekend.

Who Are You? You are a licensed nurse with a commitment to elderly care and person-centered care. You are confident in your professional practice, responsible, and accustomed to making medical decisions.

You enjoy supervising and collaborating with nursing staff, find it easy to communicate with colleagues, residents, and relatives, and see the value of collaboration to create high-quality care.

Previous experience in elderly care or dementia care is an advantage, but most importantly, you have a genuine interest in the well-being and development of our residents.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a full-time colleague for a permanent position with a six-month probationary period. Start date is to be agreed upon.

Meritorious Previous experience in elderly care or dementia care

• Experience in supervising staff

• Knowledge of digital journal systems, e.g., Sekoia and Sign it

• Education in geriatrics or dementia
