About Us

Do you want a job where you can make a real difference for people every day? Do you want to work in a personal and varied environment? Then this might be for you! We are now looking for two full-time nursing assistants for Torpavallsgatan Östra home care.

For us, it is important that you enjoy your job. We share premises with four other units and work in teams. The collaboration in our group and with home healthcare is close. We work according to the Social Services Act and the national value base where we always put the care recipient at the center and believe it is important for the care recipient to be involved in the design of their services. In our group, you have the opportunity to develop in your professional role, take responsibility, and work independently.

Working in home care means you perform care and support work for individuals in their own homes. You travel to the individual's home on foot, by bike, or by car. As a nursing assistant, you are the one who makes their everyday life function and become meaningful. In your work, you start from the strengths of the individual. All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems used within the City of Gothenburg, you will receive training in these.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• Can work evenings and weekends
• Has a valid driver's license (B)
• Can communicate and document in Swedish

It is an advantage if you have:

• Work experience in home care
• Further education focused on dementia or elderly psychiatry
• Biking experience

Personal Qualities

As a nursing assistant in home care, you are friendly and helpful to others even in stressful situations. In your work, you take responsibility for your and the group's tasks. You are also keen to complete what you have started and ensure that the work is done correctly.

The tasks vary, so it is important that you can adapt how you work when things change. In your work, you are positive, find solutions, and want to help. You understand what those we are here for need and ensure they are satisfied.
