Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and we implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are centered around the individual to meet their needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and a spirit of service.

The home healthcare in Motala municipality consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants. We work in teams together with elderly care, LSS operations, and daily activities for the benefit of our citizens.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Based on the physiotherapist's area of expertise, you will be responsible for assessing functional ability and rehabilitating individual patients. The work involves meeting people with various rehabilitation needs in their homes, in special housing, and in short-term care. You will initiate treatment, training, and assistive device assessments that develop, rehabilitate, and maintain functional ability. The work also involves providing guidance and support to individual patients, relatives, and staff in a rehabilitative approach to maintain good health.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying should be a licensed physiotherapist and have a driver's license for a manual car.
