We have the privilege of helping our elderly citizens in their daily lives. We are now looking for several nursing assistants and caregivers for our operations in Gustavsberg and Djurö.

Your Mission

In the role of nursing assistant/caregiver within Värmdö municipality, you will work with one of the best and most enriching things there is – making everyday life meaningful for our elderly citizens. Being professional is just as much about a good approach and understanding the needs and feelings of others as it is about working with care tasks and service. We work hard to maintain a professional attitude both towards our customers and within the workgroup.

In home care, you are the one who creates security in the elderly person's own daily environment. You build relationships, strengthen independence, and meet people where they live their lives. It is an independent and varied job where you get to follow the individual closely. A valid B driver's license is required.

In SÄBO (special accommodation), you are part of a team that is available around the clock. You contribute to security, routines, activities, and care for individuals with greater needs. Here, you create a warm and meaningful existence – and are there when it is truly needed.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or caregiver and has previous experience working in home care and/or elderly care. You should be able to speak and understand Swedish well and also express yourself well in writing, as communication is an important need for our elderly. You must be at least 18 years old. To work in home care, you need to have a valid B driver's license.

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and have a genuine interest in people. We expect you to have a great deal of empathy and be good at building relationships and making contact. You are attentive and present and have a service-oriented mindset. Furthermore, we see that you are interested in strengthening the healthy, vibrant part of life.
