Sydnärkes Education Association is a municipal association located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned education. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary school. In addition, we also conduct adult education at Allévux.
We have a total of about 1,800 students, of which 1,300 are at Alléskolan and 500 at Allévux. We have around 300 employees, and in our daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a property technician! With us, you will be responsible for technical systems in a varied operation with many different types of premises such as classrooms, workshops, laboratories, sports halls, and common areas where operational reliability, energy efficiency, and a good indoor climate are crucial for students and staff.
The position is placed within the property and service function, which consists of two property technicians, one property caretaker, and one property manager who has personnel responsibility for the unit. As one of our property technicians is retiring, we are looking for a new colleague; could it be you?
In this position, you will primarily be responsible for:
- Operation, supervision, and optimization of control systems for heating, ventilation, and cooling
- Troubleshooting, adjustment, and basic programming
- Monitoring energy usage and working on energy efficiency
- Maintenance of outdoor environments, such as snow removal and lawn mowing
- Participation in service, maintenance, and smaller projects in our properties
- Coordination and follow-up of external suppliers and contractors
- Documentation of facilities and actions taken
- Contributing to a good indoor climate and a safe, functioning school environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements for the position are:
- Education in property technology, HVAC, electrical, automation, or other relevant technical education. Alternatively, experience deemed equivalent.
- Good understanding of ventilation, heating, and climate systems
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with technical systems
- Driver's license B
Meritorious:
- Experience from previous work with school properties and school environments
- Experience in control and regulation technology within properties
- Authorization for wheel loaders
