JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a maintenance mechanic, you will work with maintenance, repairs, and improvement work on machines and production equipment. The work mainly takes place in an industrial, depot, or workshop environment and includes mechanical systems as well as, in some cases, simpler electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

You are responsible for ensuring that maintenance work is carried out according to applicable safety regulations, instructions, and quality requirements. The role includes troubleshooting, simpler root cause analyses, and documentation of completed work in the maintenance system. You actively contribute to ensuring high operational reliability and availability in production.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education in industry, mechanics, automotive, or technology, or equivalent documented work experience. You have experience working as a maintenance mechanic in industry, workshops, or production – or you have a strong technical interest and work on mechanical projects in your spare time. Furthermore, we believe you have:

• Good understanding of mechanical systems and machines

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairs within automotive or industrial settings

• Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems

• Ability to read and work from drawings and technical documentation

• Good computer skills for reporting in the maintenance system

As a person, you are practical, meticulous, and responsible. You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented, and find it easy to collaborate with others, while also enjoying working independently. You have a safety mindset and follow routines and instructions. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, as well as basic English. Shift, night, and weekend work may occur.
