We are now looking for new mechanic colleagues for the Värmland traffic area who can maintain order and ensure that our buses run safely. Being a mechanic at Nobina is more than just a job – it is an exciting and varied career with plenty of opportunities for personal growth.

What does it mean to be a mechanic at Nobina?
Nobina is an innovative company and was early in electrification; we introduced autonomous buses in regular traffic and were the first with Bus Rapid transport 24-meter articulated buses in the Nordic region.

You will be responsible for performing service, repairs, and troubleshooting on our buses. Tasks such as wrapping, body repairs, and interior repairs are also included. With us, you are part of groundbreaking solutions, from on-demand to advanced technology for sustainability, including biofuels and electrified traffic. Personal qualities and qualifications
To succeed in this role, we see that you handle stressful situations and environments with calm and security. You should be outgoing and flexible, value collaboration with colleagues, but also enjoy working independently when required. To work as a mechanic with us, you also need to:

• Have a vehicle technical education or equivalent experience with heavy vehicles/buses
• Be accustomed to using computers so that you can manage diagnostic programs, work orders digitally, and maintenance instructions.
• Have a bus driver's license (D)

It is an extra merit if you have an AC certificate and YKB.
Fossil fuels are being phased out in favor of electricity and biofuels. Electrification brings new challenges in the workshops, and experience with modern technology and vehicle electrics is therefore a significant plus!
