Job Description

The position is located in AFRY's central security protection department within Group Security, which is responsible for the overall security work in the group. AFRY is a leading provider of consultants to security-sensitive operations and critical infrastructure, and the role involves developing and managing that trust.

As a Protective Security Specialist, you will be responsible for client assignments covered by security protection agreements. You will guide internal staff, manage and assess agreements and processes, and act as a contact person for both internal and external parties, including security protection managers from authorities and larger companies. The role offers great freedom to drive your own cases and the opportunity to contribute to the department's development.

The position is located at AFRY's office in Solna. There is an opportunity to work remotely one day a week.

Examples of tasks:

• Administration within security protection
• Work with personnel security issues
• Develop and manage governing documents in the area
• Advise and educate internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

We see that you who are applying for the position have:

• Current experience in security protection work.
• Very good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.
• Good administrative skills and experience working with the Office suite.
• Knowledge of the Security Protection Act and associated regulations.
• Experience with security assessments.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience conducting interviews for personnel assessments, investigations, or selection work.
• Experience in physical security.
• Experience in information security.
• Experience in Signal Protection.
• Research experience

We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. Before a hiring decision is made, a security assessment according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted, as the position involves handling security-protected classified information or participation in security-sensitive operations. Since the employment concerns a position in security class, the security assessment will also include a background check and, in some cases, a special personal investigation.
