About the Department

Neuropsychiatry is one of five adult psychiatric areas within Sahlgrenska University Hospital. We provide specialized psychiatric care focusing on memory-related diseases, neuropsychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, psychiatry for the deaf and hard of hearing, psychiatry for patients with eating disorders, psychiatry for patients with intellectual disabilities, and patients with Huntington's disease.

We are now looking for a junior doctor for the Neuropsychiatry outpatient units East and West.

What do we offer?

We offer you the opportunity to work as a junior doctor in an educational and developing environment with daily supervision from a specialist in a forked outpatient setting. The clinics work evidence-based and structured and are in constant development. There may be opportunities to participate in development work and/or research.

A good position as a junior doctor with us means merit for AT, BT, and ST in psychiatry. The position is a fixed-term employment for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

About You

We are looking for someone with a medical degree who wants to work with us for a longer period. Holding a license is an advantage. Experience in healthcare, especially in psychiatry, is also advantageous.

As a person, you are passionate about patient interactions. You have a good ability to work independently when required but are a team player when needed. You are efficient and results-oriented while being meticulous, spreading positivity and eager to learn more.
