JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged nursing assistant for home care in Mariannelund as one of our employees is retiring. You will become part of a wonderful team and an important piece of our vital work in healthcare and social services.

In home care, you work in the client's own home where you will provide support and assistance in their daily lives while also having the opportunity to enhance their quality of life. The foundation for all our services is centered around the individual's needs, with a clear user focus where you, as an employee, have a person-centered care and nursing focus.

Your tasks will include personal care, household-related work, and health and medical services as delegated by a nurse. You will have significant responsibility, including being a care contact, documenting, writing implementation plans, and participating in the planning and execution of services.

You will work quite independently while having support from colleagues in your workgroup. You will be placed in a workgroup where you belong to a specific geographic area and where the group is assigned a certain number of clients. You will reach clients by walking, cycling, or driving, depending on the geographic area of your workgroup.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant. You have an interest in the assignment and enjoy meeting and helping people based on their different circumstances. Since you often work alone, it is important that you are confident in yourself, have the ability to work independently, and are proactive and action-oriented. You need to be able to handle unforeseen events and situations that may arise in the work with flexibility. It is important that you have a good attitude in all situations and meetings that may occur. In the workgroup, we help each other and see opportunities together.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title. To use the title, you need to provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023. If you have nursing assistant training but lack proof or a certificate, you may temporarily hold the title of care assistant.

You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is preferred. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
