We are now looking for a nurse for a summer temporary position at Björkgården in Tystberga. As a nurse with us, you are a central part of the care team and contribute to creating safety, continuity, and high quality in the care for our residents.

Here you will work

You will work at Björkgården together with care staff, a rehabilitation team, and the operations manager. The work involves being present in the operations where you lead and distribute health and medical tasks and are responsible for ensuring that care plans are followed and updated as needed.

Job responsibilities

• Be responsible for and perform assessments of care needs and medical interventions

• Medication management including prescription, implementation, and documentation

• Be a support and mentor for care staff in health and medical issues

• Collaborate with doctors, rehabilitation, relatives, and external caregivers as needed

• Participate in work meetings and contribute to quality assurance and improvement work

Job description

We offer a summer temporary position starting in the summer of 2026. The position lasts for three weeks full-time.

Qualifications

• License as a nurse

• Good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Experience working in elderly care is an advantage

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, good structure, and responsibility

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, secure in their professional role, and enjoys mentoring and collaborating with colleagues. You are solution-focused, good at prioritizing, and have a clear patient safety mindset.

Before employment, we will request an unopened extract from the police's criminal record. We also require a valid work permit for those who are not EU citizens.
