Description

The team you will be part of consists of another construction worker/pipe layer, an excavator operator, and a truck driver. Together, you form an efficient pipe-laying team with the support and guidance of a supervisor.

Your tasks include:

• performing excavation, pipe laying, and earthworks on water and sewage lines as well as other construction work within the operational area
• performing service measures in connection with water and sewage preparedness
• being on-call may be included

The work is carried out in the form of projects or assignments of varying sizes and scopes. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the position is based in Sunne. The public environment mainly works with contracting work on water and sewage networks as well as service measures related to water and sewage preparedness and other construction work.

Who are you?

We are looking for an engaged and proactive pipe layer/construction worker with strong teamwork skills. Good service comes naturally to you, and you thrive in a job with a lot of customer contact. You have a good ability to plan your work and can adapt to changing circumstances. As a pipe layer/construction worker, you will work with various types of pipe-laying jobs, which means you need to be flexible. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Your experience

We are looking for someone with a background in construction work; if you also have knowledge of water and sewage, it is a significant advantage.

A few years of professional experience is a plus, but we place great importance on your commitment, your willingness to develop in construction and pipe laying, and that you meet the following requirements for the position:

• Experience in construction work in the ground; experience with external water and sewage is meritorious
• Completed high school education in construction or equivalent competence acquired through professional life
• Computer skills (as we work with digital reporting)
• Driver's license B, wheel loader certification
• Experience in plastic welding is meritorious
