Skedvigården is a special accommodation in Säter Municipality located in beautiful Stora Skedvi. The accommodation has 18 apartments divided into two departments, ten apartments with traditional elderly care. Eight apartments are intended for people with dementia. Skedvigården also has a guest room with one to two places for short-term accommodation or respite care. All apartments are on the ground floor, and in addition to the individual apartments, there are communal areas and outdoor spaces.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to switch between care and administration? We are looking for a combined position as a nursing assistant and administrator. With us, you will have a varied job where you work with; staff planning, scheduling, the planning tool plan, digitization, quality work, documentation, purchasing, invoicing, assisting with the introduction of new colleagues, being out in the operations with our users, and other administration such as being a key person in managing daily operations and supporting colleagues in administrative tasks. The work as a nursing assistant at Skedvigården means that you help care recipients with their needs based on applicable assistance decisions and collaborate in a team with colleagues, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and unit managers for the benefit of the care recipient.

In addition to the team, there is a medically responsible nurse, dementia nurse, and other professionals who provide methodological support and continuing education for both new and existing staff.

As care staff, you will be assigned contact responsibility for 1-2 care recipients, which means in-depth knowledge and commitment to the care recipient's personal care, as well as working to ensure that the individual's personal needs and wishes are met according to the best possibilities based on the assistance decision. As a contact person, you are the primary link between the individual, the care team, and relatives. Being patient and working motivationally is a given to increase the individual's quality of life and access to daily stimulation. Your tasks include providing support for the individual in their daily life regarding activation, daily outdoor activities, and social interaction.

To ensure safe care and support, you will document continuously during your shift and contribute to quality development by reporting any deviations that occur regarding the individual's assistance decision and situation.

Working Hours

The working hours are scheduled every other weekend and are based on a fixed rolling schedule with day/evening shifts. Recruitment may occur on an ongoing basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school education as a nursing assistant

A complete education as a nursing assistant at the high school level in health and care or equivalent as assessed by the employer.

You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward others' contributions.

You have the ability to write clearly, concisely, and well-structured, and you can adapt your texts to the intended target audience.

You have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. You encourage and support change initiatives. You find it easy to adjust your behavior in relation to the needs of others.
