A technology-driven company in Helsingborg is now looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer with an interest in automation who wants to be part of developing the next generation of refrigeration systems. This role offers a position in a business where freezing solutions are at the core, and the future is characterized by increased digitalization and automation.

The department in Helsingborg is responsible for the development of refrigeration systems and provides the foundational basis for new platforms. The team consists of about 15 people who are engineers, technical project managers, and specialists. The group is experienced, with many having around 10 years of experience in the field. The work is carried out in larger development projects as well as in smaller feasibility studies and improvement initiatives.

The person taking on this role will initially work as a designer in ongoing projects, with the opportunity to take on greater technical responsibility over time. It is a long-term and developing role with good opportunities for growth.

In larger projects, such as the development of a new generation of freezers, you will be responsible for parts of the design based on given frameworks such as space claims and technical requirements. The work is done in close collaboration with the lead engineer and colleagues in mechanics, electrical engineering, and automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design in CAD using Creo
• Development of technical documentation
• Basic calculations and support in FEM analyses
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Participation in smaller feasibility studies where both technical and administrative aspects are coordinated

• Has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant field
• Has good CAD skills
• Is fluent in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as these languages are used both internally and externally

Great emphasis will also be placed on personal suitability, where curiosity, drive, and adaptability are important. The role requires initiative and the ability to work on several parallel projects.

This is a direct recruitment, which means that Friday handles and is responsible for the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by our client.
