We are now looking for a responsible and service-oriented employee for Väddö Kursgård. We offer a workplace in an attractive environment in Roslagen.

At Väddö Kursgård, we believe strongly in potential and highly value the right attitude and willingness. Some experience is necessary for the role of service staff as you will quickly take on a lot of responsibility. Therefore, we expect you to have previous experience in the service industry, such as from hotels, restaurants, or retail.

As a service staff member, you will be part of a small team that shares the responsibility for daily operations. The work as a service staff member is versatile and means that during your shift, you will be responsible for everything related to service – from meal serving (breakfast, lunch, dinner), reception work, to some maintenance and gardening as needed. You are our face to the guests, and with your eye for detail and ability to work in a structured manner, you ensure that our guests have a great experience.

Who are you?

We are looking for a versatile person who prioritizes service and customer interaction. You can maintain focus and joy during high-paced times as well as during quieter periods. It is a great advantage if you are practically skilled, as some maintenance work is included in the tasks.

You have no problem stepping in to perform other tasks such as cleaning and gardening.

You are comfortable working alone and in a small team, ensuring that everyone feels included and seen. You are good at planning your own tasks and take overall responsibility for following daily routines.

You live near Väddö and can work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

About us

Väddö Kursgård is a seasonal conference center located in the outer archipelago in a fantastic environment. The conference center is owned by the Air Defense Officers' Training Association, part of the total defense.

The majority of our guests are connected to the total defense. We also host weddings, private bookings, and conferences.

We are a conference center that continues to develop every year and strive for our employees to contribute ideas for our development.

Working hours

70-100% from May to October. Scheduling is based on occupancy with a two-week schedule. We hope that the applicant can work longer consecutive days with corresponding days off.

For the right person, working hours can be adjusted as needed, and staff accommodation is available.

Main tasks

- check-in, contact, and follow-up with groups

- serving meals

- dishwashing & cleaning

- bar service

- gardening and maintenance work

A big plus if you have experience from restaurant kitchens or have a strong interest in food.

Other

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the right person may be hired before the application period ends.
