Job Description

As a welder at Balco, you will be part of a friendly team of 10 people. The welding primarily involves frames, columns, and other steel parts for balcony assembly. The welding follows SS-EN ISO 3834-2 and SS-EN 1090-2 with the accompanying requirements.

We are looking for someone who

Has at least 5 years of experience in MIG/MAG welding and knows how to follow a WPS; experience in non-destructive testing is an advantage.

As a person, you are responsible, quality-conscious, meticulous, and have your own drive. Very good skills in reading technical drawings are essential, as well as the ability to read and understand Swedish regarding instructions and safety regulations.

We prefer that you have a valid welder qualification according to ISO 9606-1, covering welding methods 135 and 138. The qualifications should cover both fillet welds (FW) and butt welds (BW).

You are proficient in both English and Swedish, spoken and written.

A forklift license is required.

A crane license is an advantage.
