ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for an automation engineer with a focus on industrial automation for our client in Gothenburg. In this role, you will be based in Gothenburg and work on projects here, but the section occasionally receives international projects, which may require travel as well. Therefore, we are looking for someone who appreciates variety, has an easy time collaborating with new people, and is driven to solve technical challenges.

You will primarily work with clients in the food industry and with comprehensive projects within automation. The role is both exciting and varied, as the client does everything from assisting with concept development, electrical design, and programming/commissioning in production. You will be involved in several different phases of the project, but primarily where your strengths lie. Your tasks may include validation, electrical design, PLC programming, digitization, and development of MES solutions. The projects vary in length – some extend over longer periods at the same location, while others are shorter.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

• Programming of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Troubleshooting and optimization of automation solutions
• Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated systems
• Contributing to calculations and quotation work
• Electrical design

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a post-secondary education in automation, mechatronics, or a similar field, or relevant work experience in the industry
• Has at least 3 years of experience in PLC programming or electrical design
• Is solution-oriented and flexible with a good ability to quickly adapt to new systems and working methods
• Has a B driver's license and is comfortable traveling for work
• Is fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience working in the pharmaceutical or food industry, for example as a technician or in maintenance

Knowledge can be obtained through education, experience, or self-learning.
