Welcome to Närhälsan Ljungskile Health Center and BVC.

We have about 30 dedicated employees in various professional categories, such as district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, psychologists, and doctors. We value an open and inclusive work climate where collaboration across professional boundaries is a natural part of everyday life.

About the Job

Your tasks at BVC are varied, where you follow children with guardians from newborn until school health care takes over. You have a central role in meeting the families' needs, making medical and nursing assessments and priorities. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic. You will work with health checks, vaccinations, and parent groups.

Collaboration occurs in interdisciplinary teams at the health center, and cooperation also takes place with external healthcare providers such as preschools, schools, family centers, and specialist healthcare. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore supervision of students is also included in your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a pediatric nurse or district nurse. Experience working with children and youth is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. Other Information

Travel in the job may occur, a B driver's license is required. Interviews at the health center will be held continuously. The position is a temporary contract of about 80% until August 31, 2027. Welcome with your application!

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Then, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
