We are now looking for an engaged dental nurse for our clinic

Main Duties and Responsibilities

At Folktandvården Frölunda Cultural Center, you meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. We are 24 employees at the clinic who work closely together with collegial learning, helpfulness, and flexibility as guiding principles.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Administrative work

Your duties also include:

• Work in sterilization and reception
• Training, prophylaxis, X-rays, and scanning
• Health-promoting work within child health care and special housing

Qualifications and Profile

• Trained dental nurse with education from MYH (Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when busy
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the operation by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly trained dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 10.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
