We are now looking for two self-driven dental nurses who understand the importance of good service and proper reception.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

The clinic is located at Odontologen.

Within the clinic, we provide everything from highly specialized care in collaboration with Sahlgrenska University Hospital to dentoalveolar and implant surgery. We conduct patient-centered research and development focusing on orthognathic and reconstructive surgery. We also supervise ST dentists, educate dental students, and conduct courses, and you will also participate in the clinic's observation and consultation activities.

We work in a positive spirit where teamwork and development of the operation are natural components. We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work.

The specialist clinic for oral surgery has 9 treatment rooms. In total, we are 35 employees distributed among specialists, ST dentists, dentists, dental nurses, and secretaries.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Assisting in examinations, treatments, and surgeries
• Working in the sterile area and reception

We are a VFU clinic and receive students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervision/assistance of students may also be part of the role.

Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with an education from MYH (Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to maintain a stable and calm demeanor even when there is a lot to do
• Independently manage administration
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the operation by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work
• A plus if you have completed further education in oral surgical nursing for dental nurses (15 credits)

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for Friday, February 27.
