Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

The general psychiatry unit in Ljungby is an outpatient clinic where we meet patients with a wide range of diagnoses and issues. Our mission is to conduct specialist psychiatry, primarily for patients with recurrent depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, complicated anxiety disorders, neuropsychiatric issues, and patients at risk of suicide.

At the clinic, psychologists, psychotherapists, doctors, nurses, psychiatric nurses, caregivers, occupational therapists, social workers, and medical secretaries work together, totaling about 30 employees. Here, we work cross-professionally around our patients, and the psychological perspective is highly valued and sought after. We cherish collegial support and meet regularly for collegial supervision. In addition, regular external supervision is offered in the assessment and treatment work.

We are now looking for a licensed psychologist for our unit in Ljungby.

JOB DESCRIPTION

At the General Psychiatry unit in Ljungby, you as a psychologist will have the opportunity to work independently and with great freedom. Your tasks as a psychologist will primarily include assessment, evaluation, and psychological treatment with the possibility of working from different theoretical orientations. There is room to adapt the tasks according to preferences and the opportunity to develop interventions and treatments. Remote work is also possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with an interest in psychiatry.

We also prefer that you feel secure in your professional role and have the ability to maintain humility in the face of the complexity that most assignments in specialist psychiatry entail. We are looking for a colleague who wants to take the initiative for their own and collective development as well as for good cohesion, which is the foundation for results in our work.

We are looking for someone who is engaged and responsible. Since you will be part of a cross-professional team, you should be good at collaborating, being flexible, and communicative.

Previous experience in specialist healthcare is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. It is beneficial if you have a driver's license.
