We are now looking for nursing assistants to Pilgården Elderly Care Home!

We are looking for a nursing assistant for our special accommodation for people with cognitive impairment, day/evening/weekend 100%.

Pilgården Elderly Care Home is located in Ström in Lilla Edet. Pilgården is a residence divided into five units focusing on cognitive impairment, as well as a respite care place. You will belong to an engaged work team with nursing assistants, care assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and your immediate supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in Lilla Edet Municipality, you will provide individually tailored personal care and support as well as social stimulation. We place great importance on the integrity of our citizens and work according to the values that are based on the individual's own wishes and abilities. Our mission is to be professional practitioners who work to strengthen the individual's abilities and resources so that they experience their daily life as manageable and meaningful.

You provide support, care, and assistance. The assignment also includes performing health and medical tasks as delegated and documenting. Your work is guided by the fact that our elderly should have a safe and meaningful life, where the individual's needs are at the center. You will also become a contact person for one of our tenants living in the unit.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• Has experience working in care, preferably with people with cognitive impairment
• Enjoys planning and carrying out daily activities together with those we serve.
• Has experience/knowledge in social documentation
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language as communication and documentation are a large part of our work.
• Has good computer skills

As a person, you are confident in yourself and meet people in an engaged and professional manner. You are a positive person who sees opportunities, is flexible as you will face new challenges every day. You should be innovative and open to alternative working methods and hours, where the individual is the focus. Above all, you find it fun and stimulating to work in care while seeing activation/activities as a natural part of everyday life for the people living in the unit.
