Job Description

As a cook, you contribute to creating delicious meals of high quality. You will play an important role in preparing tasty, safe, and healthy meals for patients and visitors. Your tasks will vary and include preparing food for patients, setting up meal trays for patients, as well as dishwashing and cleaning. You will participate in and carry out self-control together with your colleagues. Other tasks may also occur.

Qualifications

To provide good service in the role of kitchen assistant/cook, you need to:

• show interest, willingness, and commitment to perform well
• be meticulous and responsible
• have a good attitude and work well with others
• be flexible and able to switch between different tasks

You should have completed or be in the process of completing a high school education in restaurant and food or equivalent high school education. You need to communicate well in Swedish as you will have dialogue with customers and colleagues, as well as follow written and verbal work instructions. In this job, you will be walking and standing for a large part of your workday and working at different stations, thus you need to have the physical capability required for this.

It is an advantage if you have experience in similar work within kitchens and restaurants.

Working Hours

Working hours vary between 06:00-17:00, weekend work may occur. As we have a need for extra reinforcement already during the spring, it is advantageous if you are available to start working immediately and not just during the summer period.
