We are looking for kitchen assistants for the kitchen at Södra Älvsborg Hospital in Borås. We warmly welcome your application by March 9!

Job Description

As a kitchen assistant, you contribute to creating high-quality meals. You will play an important role in preparing safe and healthy meals for patients and visitors. Your tasks will vary and include preparing food for patients, setting up meal trays, as well as washing dishes and cleaning. You will participate in and carry out self-control together with your colleagues. Other tasks may also occur.

Qualifications

To provide good service in the role of kitchen assistant, you need to:

• show interest, willingness, and commitment to perform well
• be meticulous and responsible
• have a good demeanor and work well with others
• be flexible and able to switch between different tasks

You should have completed or be in the process of completing a high school education in restaurant and food service or equivalent. You need to communicate well in Swedish as you will have dialogue with customers and colleagues and follow written and verbal work instructions. In this job, you will be walking and standing for a large part of your workday and working at different stations.

Experience in similar work within kitchens and restaurants is an advantage.
