About the position
Patients with gynecological cancer come to our clinic. Here, highly specialized surgical and oncological care is provided. We are now looking for a contact nurse for the oncological flow. Here we strive to offer high-quality care and work according to the contact nurse assignment.
As a contact nurse, you have a central role where you meet patients undergoing both curative and palliative medical treatments. As a contact nurse, you are responsible for the patient's care and planning throughout the treatment period as well as follow-up after treatment. You have your own nursing clinic where you inform the patient about upcoming treatments, provide advice on symptoms and side effects, conduct follow-ups, and create rehabilitation plans. You also have telephone counseling and administrative tasks, including booking patients for new visits and follow-ups.
The position is a temporary position for about 1½ years.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Registered nurse
- At least 3 years of experience
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious:
- Specialist education in oncology and/or contact nurse education
