The Health and Social Care Administration provides services, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as being responsible for regulatory activities according to current legislation. The administration operates within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health care, family support, and regulatory activities. All work is performed with the resident in focus based on the value foundation; respect, participation, trust, and security. JOB DESCRIPTION

The job involves independently being responsible for occupational therapy interventions within elderly care. As an occupational therapist, you work with the whole person and their physical and cognitive abilities. The tasks include:

• Working independently and in a team.
• Conducting functional and activity assessments and working with activity training.
• Testing and prescribing assistive devices.
• Instructing, delegating, and supervising care staff.
• Working closely with care staff, unit managers, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapy colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with work experience in elderly care. A B driver's license is considered an asset. Our work is team-based to ensure that everyone's competencies contribute to the health and well-being of the residents. Therefore, we are looking for someone with good collaboration skills. We also see that you are stable and maintain a realistic perspective even in stressful situations. You have a good demeanor, are responsible, and take initiative and see opportunities for change.
