Instructor in Construction Design – BIM

Teknikakademin is looking for an instructor in BIM and construction design. This role is suitable for you who have strong competence in digital construction processes and want to educate the builders of the future.

As an instructor, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and developing teaching in BIM modeling, construction processes, and digital working methods. The teaching takes place on-site in Gothenburg with the possibility of some remote elements.

• Teach BIM tools, BIM architecture, BIM construction, and BIM coordination

• Convey knowledge about the phases and regulations of the construction process

• Introduce modeling, calculation, and digital construction

• Teach construction technology for BIM and sustainable building

• Guide students in projects, modeling, and practical tasks

• Ensure quality and develop course materials

• Excellent knowledge in BIM, digital modeling, or construction design

• Experience with BIM tools (modeling/calculation/construction)

• Understanding of construction processes, installations, and construction

• Relevant technical education and/or professional experience

• Good pedagogical skills

• Experience in BIM coordination or digital project management

• Experience from construction production, construction technology, or design

• Previous experience as an instructor/mentor

• Experience in project work or management of smaller projects
