The club was founded in 1968 on the initiative of the bookseller and editor Stig Ericsson and was admitted as number 109 in SGF in 1969. The course was built between 1969 and 1972. The architect was Nils Sköld, one of the best Swedish golf course architects of the time. His ambition was to create a course based on nature's own conditions. In this way, a characterful but relatively short course was created.

Do you want to help create a new dining experience in a unique environment? Täby Golf Restaurant is now looking for a driven and passionate sous chef who wants to strengthen our kitchen team and contribute to the development of our restaurant.

About us

Täby Golf Club is a beautiful 18-hole course located between Täby and Vallentuna, next to Vallentuna Lake. We value quality, service, and community. The area is surrounded by forests, lakes, and horse pastures, offering a calm and inspiring environment.

Our clubhouse and restaurant is a listed building from the late 1800s that is currently undergoing a complete renovation – including a completely new, modern restaurant kitchen. We are committed to the restaurant long-term and are therefore looking for a sous chef who wants to help create a new era for the business.

Responsibilities

As a sous chef at Täby Golf Restaurant, you will work closely with the head chef and share responsibility for:

• Driving service during lunch and à la carte

• Creating menus and prep lists

• Leading and distributing work in the kitchen

• Participating in orders and purchases

• Contributing to the development of the kitchen and work routines

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 5 years of experience as an à la carte chef

• Is creative, solution-oriented, and committed

• Has good communication skills

• Has a driver's license and access to a car (no public transport to the restaurant)

• Speaks Swedish and English fluently
