Your New Job

In your role, you will support and motivate citizens in the parts of daily life that may be difficult to manage independently. You will work closely with the citizen and tailor your interventions and approach according to the individual's needs, wishes, and circumstances, always considering personal integrity and focusing on promoting participation.

The work is primarily carried out independently in the citizen's home. Your tasks will vary and may include assistance with daily routines such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, lifting and transferring, meals, and household chores. It may also involve supporting communication or accompanying leisure activities. You will also perform certain health and medical care tasks upon delegation, such as medication management and rehabilitative support. Your work will also include social documentation in Combine and time registration in Phoniro.

In your work, you will collaborate with various parties, both internally and externally. You will have contact with unit managers and colleagues as well as relatives, legal representatives, and healthcare professionals.

Your Qualifications

We prefer that you have training as a personal assistant or have completed the care and nursing program with a specialization in disability care/psychiatry or the child and leisure program with a focus on social work/pedagogical work. Alternatively, you may have another education with a social or pedagogical focus that the employer finds equivalent.

Experience in the field of disability care or in pedagogical, service-oriented, or caregiving work is advantageous, especially in personal assistance.

You must be proficient in Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension. This is important as the work involves a lot of contact creation, documentation, and reading information relevant to the job. Furthermore, you should be comfortable using digital tools as aids for documentation, time reporting, etc. Therefore, we view it positively if you have this experience from previous jobs. A B driver's license may be required for certain positions.

Good to Know

The recruitment concerns 2-4 permanent full-time positions that begin with a 6-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.

The citizen's assistance decision governs scheduling, and working hours may be scheduled during the day, evening, weekend, and on-call. In some cases, awake night shifts may also occur. For night work, a medical check-up at the Municipal Health Service is required before employment. Coordination with work for other citizens may occur.

We apply rolling selection, which means we call candidates for interviews during the application period. If you proceed in the process, you will be invited to a group interview with other applicants. Group interviews will start on February 27. Therefore, the position may be filled before the application deadline.
