The Challenge
We are looking for someone who enjoys diving deep into measurement technology, has an eye for detail, and wants to help ensure world-class quality. At Precomp Solutions AB, you will work with some of Europe's leading customers in the automotive and manufacturing industries.
As a Measurement Technician at Precomp, you will play an important role in ensuring that their components maintain the highest quality – from the first idea to the finished product. You will be part of a close-knit team that works closely with both production and development. It is a varied and technically challenging role where you will use both your intellect and intuition.
Your tasks will include:
- Measuring, testing, and quality assuring products using advanced measuring machines (primarily coordinate measuring machines such as PC-DMIS and Measure-X).
- Programming measuring equipment and determining which methods to use – often based on technical drawings or specifications.
- Participating in projects where you help develop measurement strategies for new components – you will be involved from the start and influence the final result.
- Verifying production – you ensure that everything aligns with our high-quality standards before components proceed to the customer.
- Supporting our tooling department with measurement data and analyses that help them adjust and improve tools or processes.
- Creating documentation in connection with PPAP and outcome testing – you ensure that everything is correctly documented.
- Managing deviations and customer complaints – sometimes with direct contact with the customer, so you need to be comfortable explaining your analyses.
- Contributing to continuous improvements – questioning things in the right way and wanting to make processes smarter.
You will work with technological products where precision is everything, and you will be a crucial part of the quality work.
Who are you?
You likely have at least five years of experience in quality or measurement technology, preferably within manufacturing or the automotive industry. You enjoy technology, are meticulous to the smallest detail, and like to work both independently and collaboratively. You thrive when you can set the standard for quality – and you are not afraid to take initiative.
We would like you to have:
- A technical background
- Experience with PC-DMIS, Measure-X, and preferably Rektron
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
You are someone who enjoys doing a thorough job, has an eye for detail, and can see the bigger picture. You thrive in an environment where you can be self-driven while also contributing to the team. It’s not just about technology – it’s about creating quality all the way to the end customer.
Location: Ulricehamn
