At Norlandia Elderly Care, we are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/care assistant and who wants to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Granparken elderly home in Norrtälje. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their old age. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Typical tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the resident's apartment. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. A very exciting job, simply put!

Granparken is a cozy elderly home located in Kvisthamra, Norrtälje, close to nature. Granparken has 48 accommodation places distributed over 6 departments. One department is focused on dementia, while the remaining five are for care. Each unit has common areas such as a kitchen, dining room, balconies, and a large lounge where residents socialize, have meals, watch TV, or enjoy a cup of coffee.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is highly meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Extent: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
