Demolition/Carpenter - Bathroom

PN Entreprenad AB - Stockholm

This is a combined position as a demolition worker and carpenter.

We are looking for someone who masters and enjoys the profession of demolition and has experience in bathroom demolition.

Additionally, carpentry skills for closing walls, floors, and ceilings are required.

We seek someone with several years of experience in demolition/carpentry work and who has a strong understanding of how to efficiently and safely demolish and rebuild bathrooms.

We renovate bathrooms in Greater Stockholm where you will be part of a team with craftsmen/colleagues performing complete bathroom renovations.

We demolish bathrooms down to the foundation before reconstruction can take place.

The work is partly physically demanding, so you need to have good physical conditions.

A valid driver's license (B) and proficiency in Swedish or English, both spoken and written, are required.

The work includes the following tasks:

Establishing the workplace - covering floors and any furniture, sealing off parts of the workplace with plastic to limit dust spread.

It is an advantage if you can perform simpler plumbing tasks such as capping water pipes.

Demolition of tiles.

Demolition of board materials on framed walls and plaster from solid walls.

Chiseling away leveling compound on floors.

In some cases, chiseling away parts of the concrete foundation and preparing channels in concrete for drainage.

Preliminary work with tracing in walls and ceilings so that we can later run electrical/plumbing.

Handling construction waste placed in bags outside the workplace.

General cleaning after demolition.

The carpentry tasks involve framing walls, ceilings, and floors, closing walls and floors with plywood, drywall, and chipboard. Pouring concrete floors and leveling compound.
