At Vadsbogymnasiet in Mariestad, eleven national programs, four introductory programs, and three programs within adapted upper secondary school are offered. There is also sports specialization, Young Entrepreneurship, and program certifications. The school currently has just over 700 students and about 75 educators. Vadsbogymnasiet is characterized by safety and study peace where students and staff thrive and can focus on learning and education, and we have a low turnover of teachers.

We are further developing our investment in mathematics and are therefore looking for an additional resource teacher in the subject. This is to further increase goal fulfillment and better prepare students for further studies in science and technology.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a resource teacher, you will work with mathematics within the C-track (technology and science programs). You will work closely with colleagues, resource teachers, school management, and other professionals within upper secondary school based on scientific principles and proven experience.

Together with the principals, you will prioritize and plan the teaching based on the students' needs. You will conduct teaching in close collaboration with the mathematics teachers and continuously follow up and analyze the students' knowledge development in the C-track.

An important part of the work is to further develop mathematics teaching at the school with a focus on the C-track. You will do this in collaboration with resource teachers in mathematics, the subject responsible teacher for mathematics, the lecturer in mathematics, and the principals.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, you must have a secondary school teacher's degree in mathematics, physics, and technology. It is an advantage if you have previous experience of school development assignments related to mathematics.

• Has the drive and ability to work independently while enjoying working together to create good conditions for students in their efforts to achieve goals.
• Is a flexible person.
