More and more customers are seeking our expert help, and we need to strengthen our project team in Köping with an experienced designer with advanced skills in mechanics.

About the role:

As a mechanical designer at Jakkal, you will work on everything from design to planning and executing smaller and larger projects together with our skilled project team in mechanics and automation. You will play a key role in the project team in developing and implementing technical solutions in collaboration with our customers.

Our customers include both large and small companies, several of which are world leaders in their field.

The position is a permanent employment.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical solutions in 3D-CAD.
• Plan and execute smaller and larger projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and other departments to understand their needs and design the best technical solutions while ensuring project progress and successful delivery.
• Participate in potential prototype development.
• Visits to customers and suppliers.
• Development and optimization of products and solutions.

You thrive in project-based work and are used to managing multiple projects simultaneously. You have good collaboration skills, take initiative, and meet deadlines. We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of relevant work experience in mechanical design and technical solutions.
• Experience working with at least one CAD tool in mechanical design, preferably more.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanics, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
• Experience in automation, robotics, electrical engineering, pneumatics, and/or hydraulics.
• Additive manufacturing – 3D printing.
