Our Italian restaurant is looking for several friendly waiters who can deliver excellent customer service while memorizing our menu and daily specials. As a waiter, you will be responsible for taking customers' food and drink orders and delivering them to the right people in the kitchen or bar. We prefer that you have previous experience as a waiter in a popular restaurant and are motivated to provide outstanding service. We look forward to your application!
Responsibilities include:
- Taking customers' food and drink orders
- Ensuring all orders are correct and delivered to the table on time
- Suggesting appetizers and meals from the menu and specials to customers
- Working closely with the restaurant manager to promptly address customer issues and create a pleasant dining experience
- Confirming orders with chefs and bartenders when clarification is needed
- Setting tables and moving furniture to accommodate larger groups.
- Assisting with check-in/check-out of guests at our hotel.
