Support in ordinary housing is the municipality's provider of home care services with the task of providing support and assistance to elderly individuals. The unit offers its clients personal service and care of high quality day, evening, and night all year round. Safety, dignity, and continuity are important cornerstones of our work. The unit is divided into the following areas: Jakobsberg, Viksjö, Kallhäll, and Barkarby. We have a night and alarm patrol and a specialized dementia team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of a temp worker within our home care services, your tasks will involve taking care of our citizens and providing the best care and support tailored to the individual's needs. Working with people is important, spreading joy, knowledge, and creating special encounters.

The work involves performing approved services primarily in the client's home, and no two days are alike. Tasks may vary between service tasks such as cleaning and laundry, personal care with hygiene, daily routines such as dressing and undressing, as well as accompanying clients to scheduled meetings or activities. We center the individual’s needs, interests, and conditions. Since the work is performed in the client's home, it is important to be adaptable. Smoking and pets may be present in some homes.

Your workdays may vary, and some of your tasks may include:

• Cleaning and cooking
• Assisting with toilet visits/showers
• Assisting with transfers
• Documenting
• Being a social companion and supporting the client

QUALIFICATIONS

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your commitment to the elderly. You are expected to take full responsibility for the tasks to be performed during a work shift. We need someone who is confident in themselves and can handle multiple tasks at once. You should be service-oriented to the fingertips, self-sufficient, and able to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and relatives.

We are looking for someone who has:

• experience in the care profession
• a B driver's license and can cycle
• very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• good computer skills

It is an advantage if you have previously:

• an assistant nurse education (protected title), care-related education, or similar
• worked in home care services
• knowledge of documentation within SoL,
• worked in LifeCare Mobile Care, Phoniro, or another time management system before.
• knowledge of the Finnish language as Järfälla is a Finnish administrative area

You must also be at least 18 years old to work in our home care services.
