Ersta Hospital is part of Ersta Diakoni and is Sweden's largest non-profit hospital with a clear value base – to see the whole person. With roots dating back to 1851, we have provided healthcare in Södermalm, Stockholm, but we welcome patients from all over the country. Here we offer high-quality, specialized healthcare with both breadth and expertise. We are a university hospital unit and conduct research, education, and development in collaboration with Karolinska Institute. We are growing to help more, and since 2023, the hospital's capacity has tripled, and eight new operations have started.

At our geriatric clinic, there are three wards for elderly patients and a department for specialized rehabilitation (specrehab). Together, we are building the future elderly center.

About the role

As a nursing assistant, you will be an important part of our team that takes care of patients in our wards. The team includes nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers.

Your job will be to provide care to patients and collaborate closely with nursing assistants and nurses. You will have a job that is independent, educational, and meaningful – where you can practice your skills and gain valuable experience for the future.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us this summer and possibly extra as a temp before and after.

Your experience

To be considered, you need to:

• be a nursing student who has completed semester 3 or a nursing assistant with experience in geriatrics

• be available for at least 6 weeks during the period week 25-32

• have knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
