As a Project Engineer at Skanska Road and Construction in Visby, you will play a key role in the development of Gotland's infrastructure. We work on socially important projects ranging from water and energy, bridges and quays, as well as with the armed forces. Your tasks

• Support the project and site manager in daily operations
• Be responsible for documentation and preparations for meetings
• Follow up on finances, forecasts, and costs
• Participate in purchasing work and supplier contacts
• Assist in handling changes and agreements
• Work with project timelines and digital tools
• Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives

Good to know

You will be based in the Visby office and work on projects around Gotland. Travel within the region (Småland, Blekinge) may occur. Since the work involves security-classified projects, Swedish citizenship is required, and you must undergo a security review according to applicable legislation.

Our expectations

We are looking for someone with experience in the construction or civil engineering industry and a post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or economics. You have held a similar role as a project engineer or have worked with planning, finance, or purchasing in projects. You enjoy working in a structured manner, take initiative, and thrive in collaboration with others. You are used to communicating and have an analytical approach. Knowledge of contract law or digital project management is a plus. A driving license (B) is required.
