Job Advertisement: Head of Goods and Fuel Section
The security political situation in our region has changed, and the government has decided to continue strengthening military capabilities.
This means that the Armed Forces and Norrland's Dragoon Regiment, K 4, will grow. A crucial factor for our growth is that operations at the unit are conducted efficiently. Therefore, we currently need a new employee. We hope you want to join us in this expansive period.
About the Unit
The Supply Department, FörsA Arvidsjaur, is responsible for providing supplies and transportation that the units need to conduct training, exercises, readiness, and operations.
FörsA Arvidsjaur currently consists of 17 employees. We are part of the Logistics Unit at K 4. We are currently looking for a head for the goods and fuel section.
Main Responsibilities
The tasks consist of planning and leading the section and its personnel in daily operations. The role also involves participating in planning and management, customer contacts, and follow-up of our operations at FörsA Arvidsjaur.
The position is a supervisory function but also includes tasks as warehouse personnel, such as inventory, material and record maintenance, as well as administrative work in the Armed Forces' support systems.
The section is responsible for the fuel facility and environmental station, and support for this is also included in the job description. Work and training at other locations may also occur.
The work can be physically demanding at times and involve heavy lifting and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- 3-year high school education or equivalent knowledge deemed comparable by the employer
- Manual Class B driver's license
- Good administrative skills

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service and ease in contacting people, as well as good communication skills in both spoken and written form. You are a good team player while also taking initiative and responsibility. You are not afraid to work independently, are loyal, flexible, meticulous, and organized.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
MERITORIOUS
- Experience working in the Armed Forces' support systems, PRIO/S4 HANA/LIFT
- Experience in supervisory roles
- Good computer skills
- Forklift license

Employment type: Permanent position, the Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time, work is primarily scheduled during the day, but evening and weekend shifts as well as on-call duty may occur. Business trips to other locations in the garrison may occur.
