ABOUT THE POSITION

The Logistics Unit FörsA is now seeking personnel for the Weapons/Ammunition and Mobilization Section. Are you meticulous, safety-conscious, and enjoy challenges? Then you might be the right person for us.

About the Unit

The Logistics Unit (LogE) is tasked with supporting referring units in peace, crisis, and war regarding supply, technical services, and transport services. The Supply Department (FörsA) carries out the logistics support and meets the needs of the garrison for supplies, transport services, and other operational support.

Main Responsibilities

As a storekeeper in the Weapons/Ammunition and Mobilization Section, you will work a lot outdoors as well as with administrative tasks.

  • Work with inventory, packing, transport, and storage management as well as maintenance.
  • Build stores with the materials and supplies of the combat units.
  • Inventory management and auditing.
  • Maintain records in our support systems LIFT and PRIO (SAP).
  • Handle ammunition and explosive materials.
  • Participate in exercises throughout the Armed Forces.
  • Participate in training.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Completed upper secondary education at minimum.
  • Good computer skills and experience working in PC/Network (Windows environment).
  • Driver's license minimum class B (manual).
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
  • Good physical ability.

Meritorious

  • Knowledge and familiarity with the Armed Forces' materials.
  • Experience working with logistics and/or storage work.
  • Experience with LIFT and PRIO.
  • Forklift licenses at least TLP10 A and B classes.
  • C or CE.
  • Wheel loader license.
  • Completed military service or equivalent basic military training with a passing result.
  • IFTEX training.
  • ADR certificate.
  • Experience in security-sensitive operations.

You remain calm in pressured situations and make thoughtful decisions even when the pace is high.

Norrbotten Air Wing, F 21, is Sweden's northernmost air wing. The main base is in Luleå, with side bases in Jokkmokk and Vidsel. F 21 continuously trains to deliver the following air operational capabilities in peace, crisis, and war:

  • Control of airspace.
  • Ground and maritime target engagement.
  • Intelligence gathering.
  • Airlift transport.
  • Support to other combat forces, total defense, and society at large.
