Do you want to work in an engaged team where you can develop, feel joy at work, and make a real difference every day? Then you are warmly welcome to the Urology Clinic in Västerås!

Job Responsibilities

Something is always happening with us! As a nurse here, you will have a varied, meaningful, and developing job where you meet both scheduled and acute patients. One moment you are preparing someone for surgery – the next you are caring for a patient with an acute illness.

You are responsible for care, medication management, and safety – but above all, for creating good days for both patients and colleagues.

We work together – nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, discharge planners, surgical planners, managers, and receptionists – in a wonderful team where we support, laugh, and solve things together.

Every day we take time for daily reflection, and we work according to the Green Cross and the loop, to constantly improve and create a safe and sustainable work environment.

Here you get the chance to develop, think outside the box, and make a difference – for real.

Welcome to a job where heart, teamwork, and pace go hand in hand!

About the Workplace

The Urology Clinic is a smaller, engaged clinic with great opportunities for development. We work closely together in teams and have an open climate where everyone knows everyone. Our manager believes in freedom under responsibility and coaching leadership – and our excellent results in employee surveys show that it works.

For us, it is important that you feel good and thrive at work, which is why we offer you:

  • tailored introduction program to make you feel secure and confident in your professional role
  • opportunity for professional development through, for example, internal training
  • a workplace for different stages of life, with the possibility of flexible working hours within certain frameworks
  • free training at our fully equipped gym
  • wellness allowance of 3000 SEK/year

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse – both newly graduated and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

If you have previous experience working in similar settings, it is an advantage. Since you need to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required. Other language skills are an advantage.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. Since the work can change rapidly in various ways, you need to be flexible and have the ability to maintain your calm and focus in new situations. You have a good ability to structure your work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. We work in teams and see collaboration and clarity as very important ingredients for success. Since we work closely with both patients and relatives, empathy is an important ingredient in your daily life.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

We offer a flexible degree of employment and are open to both part-time and full-time positions. However, to fit the role, you need to be able to work during the day, evenings, and weekends according to the schedule. Start date by agreement.
