We are looking for a social worker for ASIH and our specialized palliative care ward. Both units are located on the 5th floor of Roslagen Hospital in Norrtälje.

We have extensive experience in palliative care and advanced home healthcare. This is a unique opportunity to work in a knowledgeable team with established teamwork.

The entire operational area consists of ASiH teams based in Arninge, Lidingö, and Norrtälje, as well as specialized palliative inpatient care in our two wards at Roslagen Hospital in Norrtälje and Byle Gård in Täby. We operate on behalf of Region Stockholm. We have close collaboration between the teams, but your placement will primarily be at ASIH Norrtälje Roslagen and our palliative care ward in Norrtälje.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Standard tasks as a social worker in palliative care and home healthcare. The work is carried out in collaboration with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers. All staff participate in the planning around the patient.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker with a few years of experience. Ideally, you should be an educated social worker. Experience in similar operations is an advantage.

We see that you have an interest in palliative care and grief processing.

The work requires you to be able to work both independently and flexibly, but also to see the benefits of collaborating and cooperating in a team. You have a good demeanor and an empathetic approach. Personal suitability is important to us.

REQUIREMENTS Driver's license B (manual)

WORKING HOURS/DURATION

Temporary position 60-80% for one year, the degree of employment can be discussed. Possibility of extension.

SALARY

Monthly salary, collective agreement exists

From 2026-05-04, start date can be discussed
