About me

I am a happy and active 54-year-old woman who enjoys being outdoors and finding things to do. My interests include long walks in nature, regardless of the weather, traveling by bus, train, or car, and going on fun outings. I also love music, dancing, and watching my favorite movies.

About the assistance

I move around freely but need support in interpreting my surroundings and avoiding various types of risks in daily life. I have extensive support needs and require supervision and assistance in all aspects of my daily living.

I can speak, but my communication often consists of echolalia. Therefore, it is important that you are attentive and willing to get to know me to understand my needs, feelings, and wishes. Much of the communication happens through body language, tone of voice, and mood.

Who am I looking for?

I am looking for female personal assistants who are positive, solution-oriented, and able to take initiative. You need to be confident in yourself, have patience, and be able to handle different situations with calmness and respect.

Since I am sensitive to moods, it is important that you have a calm and stable approach. Experience working with low-affective handling and individuals with challenging behaviors is an advantage.

Good physical fitness is important as walks and other activities are a natural part of my daily life. You also need good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and understood, as communication relies heavily on the ability to interpret and understand expressions, body language, and situations.

Even though you work alone with me, you need to be good at collaboration. You are part of my assistance team, where our common goal is to ensure my routines are followed and my days are filled with activities tailored to me. This requires collaboration and planning within the assistance team.

Tasks

As a personal assistant, you help me create a safe, active, and meaningful daily life. The tasks include, among other things:

• Support in daily activities and outings
• Accompanying to day activities
• Accompanying to medical and care visits
• Personal care and hygiene
• Support with dressing and undressing
• Support during meals
• Cooking and shopping
• Laundry, cleaning, and other household chores
