Job Description
As a nurse in the oncology treatment clinic, you will follow the patient throughout their treatment period, both during curative and palliative care. You work independently as a contact nurse for your patients, allowing you to build a close relationship with them. You are responsible for planning and administering your patients' treatments, planning follow-ups, radiology, and more, and you will quickly develop your ability to make your own clinical assessments.
The treatment clinic also receives patients with severe or serious side effects after treatment, which often requires an acute assessment and rapid care. The work also includes, for example, blood transfusions, ascites and pleural tap procedures, and other urgent interventions.
Work Group
The work group is divided into 4 different sections based on diagnosis. You will work closely with your colleagues and the clinic's diagnosis-specific doctors. The employment is at the oncology clinic with placement in our treatment clinic. The treatment clinic is open during daytime from Monday to Friday.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with a few years of experience.
As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. For this position, we are looking for someone who is flexible. Being flexible with us means being able to adapt to the current situation and change focus, which is crucial when unpredictable events occur daily.
We work closely together and need to have good communication to successfully solve the tasks we face in our daily lives. Therefore, the position suits you who enjoy collaboration and are attentive and communicative with both colleagues, patients, and relatives.
